August has been a busy month here at CM Gates and Barriers with a number of different things happening through the month and below is an update on a few of them:

Jobs – In August we completed 41 jobs in total 21 of these were servicing existing gates.  Most of the services are existing customers who continue to use ourselves to maintain their gates and also some new customers who we have never dealt with before. Outside of the servicing we carried out several repairs, a number of these have been customers new to CM Gates and Barriers but who have been happy for us to take over looking after their gates. We have also completed a number of new installations some of these have been added to our recent installs gallery with some still to be added. Over the last couple of months, we have installed quite a few new barrier systems for our commercial customers.

New Unit – We have continued to make changes to the unit to get it set up how we need it to be. We have been ripping down walls, putting up support beams to help lift gates, building tables tressels and dollys for working on and moving gates and even painting and flooring the toilet!

New Staff member – In August Stewart Manson joined the team, he is an experienced engineer who has been brought in to help out in a number of different areas ranging from assisting with fabrication, working on installs and making the teas and coffees.

Vans – We have had two of the vans in having our logo, contact details and some images added to them and the end results are great (we will add some images to the site soon). The signwriting was carried out by another local company The Right Signs who are based in Livingston and there website address is http://www.therightsigns.co.uk/

Golf Charity day – CM Gates and Barriers where invited to take part at the ZULU Detailing charity golf day at Archerfield. There are another local company (their website is https://zuludetailing.co.uk/ ) where we donated prizes and attended the event. When we know how much is raised, we can post an update
